Type locality: San Pedro de Macoris, San Pedro de Macoris Province, Republica Dominicana.

DiagnosisOriginal Diagnosis. “Eine mittelgroße Rasse, etwas größer als dominicensis und brevirostris. Im Leben, namentlich auf dem Vorderkörper oft moosgrün gefärbt. Zeichnung erheblich zurückgebildet. Kehlsack bein Männchen leuchtend feuer- bis blutrot mit schmalem hellgelben Saume.” (Mertens 1939)
