Diagnosis | DESCRIPTION: Size large (SVL in males to 190 mm, in females to 156 mm);moderate number (18-26) vertical dorsal scales. Axillary stripe yellow; upper and lower jaws green with pale postIabial bar prominent, at times including (rarely) or lying above (usually) auricular opening; tail without broad, transverse bands; canthus pale or dark; occasionally with an occipital figure; dorsum often with scattered, pale dots or without spotting; casque pale green with black in sutures; canthus and supraciliaries pale cream; some cream on occiput; postorbital protuberances pale, bounded below by a well-delimited, green blotch, which is in turn bounded below by bold, pale green postlabial bar; throat suffused with dark brown-green; thighs with a series of fine, pale, transverse lines; neck marbled dark gray-green and cream; a pair of pale elongate paramedian spots on neck; dewlap pink (Schwartz & Henderson 1991: 305). |
