CommentVenomous!

Distribution: not in Cameroon fide L. Chirio, pers. comm., 23 Aug 2013. Has been erroneously listed for Benin but does not occur there (Hughes 2013).

Synonymy: Partly after Wallach et al. 2014. The validity of this species and its specific distinctness from A. niger was proven by Wallach (1994), lastly based on the sympatric occurence of both species “from the same rainforest locality” near Mt. Nimba.
EtymologyNamed after Latin “linea”, meaning stripe or line.
