CommentVenomous! Has been considered a colour morph of A. squamigera by PERRET & MERTENS 1957 and BROADLEY 1998.

Distribution: Has been erronously reported from Gabon (fide PAUWELS & BRANCH 2003).

Habitat: trees (arboreal) 
EtymologyNamed in honor of Donald G. Broadley (1932-2016), famous African herpetologist. Broadley died on the same day as Benedetto Lanza (10 March 2016). See Bates & Branch 2018 for an obituary.
