Type locality: vicinity of Lipondji village, East Province, Cameroon (2° 23' 05"N, 15° 25' 41" E)

CommentVenomous! Has been considered a colour morph of A. squamigera by PERRET & MERTENS 1957 and BROADLEY 1998.

Distribution: Has been erronously reported from Gabon (fide PAUWELS & BRANCH 2003).
