Type locality: Trois-Sauts, Haut Oyapock, French Guiana, 2°14’N, 52°52’W, elevation 170 m.

Comment 
EtymologyNamed after the indigenous Indians of Wayâpi on whose territory the type specimens were found. As there already existed several animal species dedicated to this ethnic group among the Acridians and Amphibians, authors chose the name of the leader, Chief Zidok.
