EtymologyNamed after Latin occiput, back of the head, occiput and Latin albus, white, pale. [“...Esso ne differisce altresì nel colorito die è tutto nero tanto di sopra quanto di sotto ad eccezione soltanto delle regioni occipitale e temporale della testa e della parte inferiore della medesima...”].
