Type locality: “Mexican boundary”. Probably Chihuahua (fide TIHEN 1949).

EtymologyNamed after Latin levis, smooth, smoothed, not rough + Latin colli, neck; throat. [“...nuchal scales not keeled, in ten longitudinal rows...”].
