| Types | Holotype: MNHN-RA-2015.0085 (by original designation) (formerly IRD 2069.N) collected 22 May 2015. Paratypes: Vingt spécimens, tous provenant de villages des environs de Baïbokoum (07°33’N – 07°49’N, 15°33’E – 15°49’E) collectés entre le 20 et le 28 mai 2015 par le premier auteur et les habitants de ces villages. | Diagnosis | Diagnosis (original): Une espèce du complexe Boaedon fuliginosus / Boaedon lineatus caractérisée par la combinaison des caractères suivants : coloration dorsale en vie brunâtre à brun-rouge; présence habituelle d’une ligne claire sur le côté du corps; présence constante d’une paire de lignes claires de chaque côté de la tête, ces lignes toujours très contrastées, celle supérieure traversant la postoculaire supérieure dont elle recouvre de 40 % à 90 % de la surface; 31 à 35 rangs d’écailles dorsales; 225 à 250 écailles ventrales (mâles : 225-243, femelles : 239- 250) et 54 à 72 écailles sous-caudales divisées (mâles : 64-72, femelles : 54-62). |
