CommentNot listed by Zhao 2006 for China.

Habitat: fully arboreal (Harrington et al. 2018). 
EtymologyNamed after Latin niger, nigra, nigrum = black or dark, and -ceps, an abbreviated form of Latin “caput” = head, referring to the dark color of the head in some (but no tall) specimens.
