Habitat: forests, fully arboreal (Harrington et al. 2018)

Distribution: Not in Nicaragua fide Sunyer & Martínez-Fonseca 2023 (checklist Nicaragua). 
EtymologyNamed after Latin lateralis, relative to the sides of the body. [“...linea laterali maculisque dorsalibus flavis...”].
