Type locality: high mountains of Peru (in error fide SCHMIDT & WALKER 1943), actually “Lima, Peru”.

Synonymy: Incertae sedis fide FENWICK et al. 2009. B. roedingeri was synonymized with picturs by CAMPBELL & LAMAR 1992 but regarded as valid species by some later authors, e.g. FENWICK et al. 2009 list roedingeri as valid species but cannot place it into any genus. 
EtymologyNamed after Latin pictus, painted; colored; decorated. [“...L. supra ex griseo brunea maculis subrotundis, irregularibus, in dorsi parte posteriore confluentibus, nigro-violaceis, in utroque corporis latere serie e maculis parvis composita...”].
