Diagnosis | Diagnosis: A small, slender Brachymeles, snout-vent length 55.0 to 74.0 mm, for 12 mature specimens: limbs much reduced, length of hind limb about 4 to 5 percent of snout-vent length: frontoparietals usually in contact, separating frontal from interparietals: no postnasal: five supraoculars [BROWN & RABOR 1967: 528] |
Comment | Limb morphology: Species with minute limbs with 0–3 digits.
Habitat: semifossorial and typically found in dry, rotting material inside or underneath decaying logs or in loose soil, forest floor detritus, and leaf litter of lowland forest. |
