Diagnosis
Comment	Brookesia minima, tuberculata, and peyrierasi have been synonymized by Raxworthy and Nussbaum (1995). This synonymization has been reversed by Glaw et al. (1999). This is probably the smallest chameleon.
Etymology	Named after L.: minimus/a/um, superlative of parva, small: smallest. At the time reputedly the smallest chameleon known (Charles Klaver, pers. comm., 11 Jan 2023).
