Comment	Venomous! Synonymy: Mertens 1969 considered B. sindanus as a variant (and synonym) of B. caeruleus. Distribution: Possibly in Bhutan (Lenz 2012). The ma in Kästle & Schleich 2013: 312 shows walli near the border of Nepal but not in Nepal.
Etymology	Named after Frank Wall (1868–1950), that is, Wall named this snake after himself. He justified this as follows: “... though I believe it a breach of ethics for any naturalist to call a species after himself, the fact that this is the first new snake I have discovered in 11.5 years' hard collecting, may be pleaded as sufficient excuse for commemorating the event and attaching my own name to it.”
