Diagnosis | Diagnosis: Maxillary teeth modified; third and fourth supralabials entering orbit; preocular present; mental not touching anterior chin shields; paraparietal surrounded by 5 shields and scales; ventrals with dark squarish spots; no light lateral stripe on any scale row; an oblique dark stripe behind eye (Inger & Marx 1965).
