EtymologyNamed for Jean Chazeau of the Laboratoire de Zoologie Appliquée at ORSTOM Nouméa, “in recognitionof his generous support and enthusiasm for our research on New Caledonian lizards” (SADLIER, BAUER & COLGAN 1999).
