Distribution	Australia (SE New South Wales, Victoria) Type locality: 2 km N of Mt. St. Leonard, in 37° 33’ S, 145° 32’ E, Vic.

Comment	Habitat: Ground, wet sclerophyll forest, 900 m elevation.
Etymology	Named for Albert John Coventry (1936-2007), Officer-in-Charge of the herpetology collection at the Museum of Victoria and close friend of the author. (G. Shea, pers. comm., 9 Feb 2024)
