Comment | Abundance: very rare; thought to be extinct but rediscovered in 2000 (Langner 2019). This is one of the species called “lost” and “rediscovered” by Lindken et al. 2024. |
Etymology | Named after Douglas DuQuesnay, who apparently discovered the type (but note that Grant misspelled the binomial with -eyi instead of-ayi). |
