Comment | Synonymy and subspecies after PETERS & DONOSO-BARROS 1970. Subspecies: Cercosaura manicata bolivianus is not closely related to Cercosaura but rather a sister clade of Potamites. Mamani et al. 2020 propose to maintain the name “Cercosaura manicata boliviana” as incertae sedis (unknown status). Mamani et al. 2022 still used the name but left it’s affiliation open. |
