Etymology | Named after Latin “montanus”, meaning “pertaining to mountains.
C. m. pallaryi was named after Paul Pallary (1869–1942) who collected the holotype. Paul Pallary was a teacher working in Algeria and a knowledgeable zoologist (particularly in continental malacology and arachnology) exploring Algeria and Morocco). |
