DistributionAustralia (Western Australia)

The Nullarbor Plain and adjacent coasts of SE Western Australia and far W South Australia, west to Balladonia HS and Israelite Bay, north at least to the Trans Australian Railway, and east to Cook and Head of Bight.

Type locality: Eucla, Western Australia, in 31°43'S, 128°53'E.  
Reproductionoviparous (not imputed, fide Zimin et al. 2022)

DiagnosisDiagnosis: Differing from P. m. marmoratus in its dorsal pattern typically consisting of fine, blackish, shallowly zigzagging or undulate transverse lines; lines on back not followed by a pale spot or blotch. For differences in scalation see under Remarks.
