| Comment | Chrysopelea rhodopleuron viridis was described from one specimen that has been destroyed during World War II (fide TILLACK in Sauria 28 (2): 42). It’s status is unclear.
Habitat: fully arboreal (Harrington et al. 2018). |
| Etymology | Named after Greek rhodon (a rose, hence red) and Greek pleura = side, or pleuron = rib. |
