CommentType species: Collorhabdium williamsoni SMEDLEY 1931 is the type species of the genus Collorhabdium SMEDLEY 1931.

WALLACH et al. 2014: 173 give 1932 as the year of publication although the paper itself is dated “1931”. 
Etymology“named after Prof. K. B. Williamson, to whose interest a great part of the present collection is due."
