DiagnosisDiagnosis: A slender, brilliant colored Cnemidophorus, easily separat­ ed from ocelliferand longicaudus by the absence ofgranular supraorbital semi­ circles, and by a very different coloration; from any known population of lacertoides (sensu lato) by a lower number ofventral scale rows (8 versus 10), a different coloration and minor different features in lepidosis.
