Type locality: Lower slopes of the Rooiberg on the farm Wolfhok, Garies District, Namaqualand, South Africa, 30°24'27"S, 18°06'11" E.  
Reproductionovovivparous 
TypesHolotype: SAM 50897, adult female. Allotype: SAM 50898, adult
male. Paratypes: SAM 50899-508900, one adult male, one adult female. 
Diagnosis 
CommentOvoviviparous.

Abundance: only known from the type locality (Meiri et al. 2017). 
EtymologyNamed after Imke Cordes, who during her M.Sc studies at the University of
Stellenbosch, discovered this species on a field trip with the authors to Namaqualand.
