TypesLectotype: SMF 15601 (= Kat. MERTENS 6348, 7a). Designation by Mertens (1967). Paraiectotype: ZFMK 95264 (ex-ZMB 57122) 
CommentAbundance: only known from the type locality (Meiri et al. 2017). 
EtymologyNamed after “bi-” = two or dual and Latin “taenia” = band or stripe.
