Type locality: 7 mi SSE of Cocklebiddy, in 32° 08’ S, 126° 08’ E, W. A.

DiagnosisDiagnosis. The largest of the C. maculatus complex. Gray males with orange to red dorsolateral stripes that are made more contrasting because of more or less continuous black dorsolateral and lateral coloring; females markedly larger than males with weakly contrasting whitish to grayish dorsolateral stripes. Male throat with black chevron markings and scattered additional dark speckling on the white gular region and black chest patch moderately well developed with a weak posteromedial extension (Figs. 5E–F, S8G, S9D–E). Femoral pore row reaches the knee. (Edwards & Hutchinson 2023)
