Type locality: Brendallan Stn, via Aramac, Queensland (22°57’S 145°14’E  
TypesHolotype: QM J46694, (SK Wilson & PJ Couper, 6.iii.1987) 
CommentMember of the C. lesueurii group. It bears some resemblance to C. robustus and C. joanae. Colour, pattern and scalation readily distinguish it from these species.
