CommentCtenotus essingtonii brevipes STORR 1981 has been elevated to species status by HORNER 2007.

Limb morphology: 5 digits, 5 toes (Singhal et al. 2018, Cogger 2014) 
EtymologyNamed after Port Essington, Northern Territory, Australia, the type locality of the species.
