Type locality: Gaboua (07°02'N, 06°28'W)  
TypesHolotype: MNHN-RA 2014.0020 (formerly IRD CI.102), collected between October 2012 and January 2014 by a villager. Paratypes: MNHN-RA 2014.0021 (formerly IRD CI.101), MNHN-RA 2014.0022 (formerly IRD CI.103), MNHN-RA 2014.0023 (formerly IRD CI.104), MNHN-RA 2014.0024 (formerly IRD CI.105), MNHN-RA 2014.0025 (formerly IRD CI.106), IRD CI.107-114. All collected by villagers of Gaboua at the same time than holotype 
DiagnosisDiagnosis: “Cette espèce se distingue de toutes les autres espèces du genre par la combinaison des caractères suivants: frontale, oculaire, temporale et occipitale distinctes, fusion des supralabiales antérieures avec la nasale et la préfrontale, fusion de la post-frontale avec la pariétale, présence de trois supralabiales postérieures et de deux temporales, 10 ou 12 segments dorsaux, huit segments ventraux et six pores cloacaux.” 
CommentAbundance: only known from its original description (Meiri et al. 2017). 
EtymologyNamed after the type locality in Côte d’Ivoire.
