Distribution	China (Xizang = Tibet) Type locality: Chaksam Ferry, Tsangpo Valley (elevation: 12500 feet), Tibet.

Comment	Illustration: Plate 21E in ZHAO & ADLER 1993. Phylogeny: C. tibetanus represents a divergent clade within Cyrtodactylus (WOOD et al. 2012, Agarwal et al. 2014).
Etymology	Named after the type locality.
