DistributionE Iran (Kerman)

Type locality: “Mons Ku-i-Tuftan in Sargado, Kirmanum orientale”; “Kuh-e Taftan, Sargad, Iran, and eastern Kerman, Iran” fide ANDERSON 1999.

TypesLectotype: ZISP 9220B, designated by SZCZERBAK & GOLUBEV 1986:207, paralectotypes: ZISP (ZIL) 9329(6), 9330(6) 
DiagnosisDiagnosis: Anterior pair of enlarged postmental shields in contact; no subfemoral tubercles(?); males with 4 preanal pores; subcaudal scales one head-width behind vent enlarged, plate-like, smooth, in 2 longitudinal series of large and small scales; dorsal tubercles distinctly than interspaces; snout 2 to 2.25 times longer than diameter of eye. See Szczerbak and Golubev (1986:207; 1996:203) for additional characters (Anderson 1999: 160). 
CommentDistribution: See map in SMID et al. 2014 for distribution in Iran. 
EtymologyNamed after the type locality in Kerman province.
