CommentAbundance: Apparently only known from the type description.

Synonymy: Molecular data suggest that C. mansarulum may be conspecific with C. rohtasfortai, called the commonest sandstone gecko in Pakistan (Khan 2008b), in which case the name C. mansarulum (Duda & Sahi 1978) has priority (Agarwal et al. 2014).

The original paper about Cyrtopodion mansarulum (Duda & Sahi 1978) consists of a single paragraph (the entire paper was never published, Sahi pers. comm., cited in Agarwal et al. 2014); however, the authors did formally diagnose the species and the nomen is thus valid.
EtymologyUnknown. Not given by Duda & Sahi 1978.
