| Diagnosis | Diagnosis: A member of the D. defilippii-complex with a non-serrated collar and smooth dorsal scales, comprising all individuals belonging to the Eastern Alborz clade. It is characterized by the combination of ventral plates with nearly rectilinear posterior margins in 21–25 transversal and 6 longitudinal rows; 49–54 dorsal scales across middle of back; 9–11 collar scales; 36–39 small scales along fold among ears; 23–29 gular scales from angle between maxillar scales to collar; 16–19 femoral pores; 26–30 scales under fourth toe; 6–8 supraciliar scales; 7–15 supraciliar granules; 1–4 scales between masseteric and supratemporal shield; 2–6 scales between masseteric and tympanic shield; 2 large preanal scales; rostral separated from nostril. The maximum snout-vent length is 54.8 mm in males and 56.2 mm in females. |
