Type locality: ‘Coconut grove, about 2 km S.W. of Teetop Guest House, Car Nicobar’ (in the Bay of Bengal, India); ‘Circuit House, Malacea (= Malacca), Car Nicobar’ (in the Bay of Bengal, India).
