Distribution: Possibly in Bhutan (Lenz 2012). The original type locality seems to have included the Nicobar Islands but the species has not been listed for these islands by DAS 1999 or VIJAYAKUMAR & DAVID 2006. Possibly in Borneo (W Sarawak) based on observations published on Facebook (Björn Lardner, pers. comm., 22 July 2024).

Similar species: Can be confused with D. formosus.

Group: Jiang et al. 2020 defined the D. cyanochloris complex as being composed of D. cyanochloris and D. ngansonensis.

The original description of D. cyanochloris is composite as it was partly based on specimens of D. humayuni Tiwari & Biswas, 1973 (fide VOGEL & ROOIJEN 2007).

Behavior: diurnal

Habitat: fully arboreal (Harrington et al. 2018)
