Reproductionoviparous 
TypesSyntypes: BMNH 1946.1.23.21, a 610 mm male (B.H. Barnes) and 1858.2.17.19 (Higgins).

CommentSynonymy: SMITH (1943) synonymized D. caudolineolatus with Dendrophis effrenis, now a synonym of D. caudolineatus. Dendrophis effrenis was revalidated by Danushka et al. 2020 though.

Distribution: previously considered to occur in India (although Indian records have been assigned to another species, see Danushka et a. 2020).

Behavior: diurnal

Habitat: fully arboreal (Harrington et al. 2018)
