Distribution	New Guinea (West Papua, Papua, and Papua New Guinea), Misool Island, Salawati Island, and Yapen Island Type locality: Nouvelle Guineé.
Reproduction	oviparous.

Comment	Synonymy: after ROOIJEN et al. 2015. This species has been considered as a synonym of D. punctulatus, e.g. by WALLACH et al. 2014: 220. Behavior: diurnal Habitat: arboreal Publication date not verified but see Clark & Crosnier 2000 for details.
