Etymology | named after Dr. Barrie Hollinrake, M.D., who collected the type specimen sometime between 1971 and 1984 on the small island of Shek Kwu Chau. It seems that in 1971, Dr. Hollinrake took over the administration of this island as Medical Superintendent of the Government’s Drug Re-habilitation and Treatment centre on this Hong Kong offshore island. He wrote a number of papers on the work done there. |
