Type locality: Waimangura, western Sumba, elevation 440 m.

DiagnosisDiagnosis: Differs from all other species of dibamids except the occasional specimen of novaeguineaein the following combination of characters:post-oculars three or four; subcaudals 41-55 and postsacral vertebrae 21-29 (Greer 1985: 152).
