DiagnosisDiagnosis: Differs from all other dibamids in the following combination of characters: postocular one; rostral sutures incomplete, and midbody scale rows 20-23 (Greer 1985: 149).

CommentErroneously reported from the Nicobar Islands (DAS 1999). 
EtymologyNamed after Greek leuco (λευκο), white + Greek oura (ουρα), tail, after the whitish-yellow color of the tail.
