TypesHolotype: MCZ 7623 
DiagnosisDiagnosis: Differs from all other dibamids in its large size (SVL = 203 mm vs a maximum SVL of 188 mm for the next largest species-celebensis) and higher number of midbody scale rows (33 vs a maximum of 30 for the species with the next highest number-celebensis) (Greer 1985: 150).
