Holotype: BSMP 1691, from Butuan, Agusan Province, Mindanao, collected by E. H. Taylor, May 1913. [argenteus] 
DiagnosisDiagnosis: Differs from all other dibamids in the following combination of characters: postocular one; rostral sutures incomplete, and midbody scale rows 20-23 (Greer 1985: 149).
