EtymologyNamed after Latin leopardinus, of a leopard. [“...die Färbung des Kopfes ist röthlich, die Rumpfseiten grau mit gelben Verticalstreifen, die aber wenig deutlich sind...“]. (from Esteban Lavilla, pers. comm., May 2024)
