Diagnosis | Diagnosis [nobbi]: Dorsal and lateral scales homogeneous or subequal; less than 20 dorsal scale rows counted at the level of the axilla, between and including the outer enlarged dorsal scale rows; dorsal scale rows more or less parallel; outer enlarged dorsal scale rows form uninterrupted series [from WITTEN 1972]. |
Comment | Synonymy: partly after Shea and Sadlier (1999). EDWARDS & MELVILLE 2011 suggested to synonymize D. n. coggeri with nobbi. |
Etymology | Named after the common name of "nobby" applied to the species in the Stanthorpe-Wallangarra area of southern Queensland. |
