CommentHabitat: fully arboreal (Harrington et al. 2018).

Synonymy: populations of D. vermiculata have been split off as D. welborni by Arteaga & Batista 2023.

EtymologyNamed after Latin vermiculata, arranged to give an effect of wavy lines. [“...the dorsum of the head is strongly vermiculated with light yellowishbrown and dark brown...”]. (from Esteban Lavilla, pers. comm., May 2024)
