Diagnosis | Diagnosis (n=21): Eine großwüchsige Eirenis-Art mit 17 Dorsalia um die Körpermitte aus der Verwandtschaft von Eirenis thospitis (15 Dorsalia!), E. modestus und E. punctatolineatus. Unterscheidet sich von diesen, wie von den übrigen Angehörigen der Gattung, durch die extreme Verblassung der Kopf- und Halszeichnung schon im Jugendstadium (wenn vorhanden, ein dunkler Okzipitalstrich mit seitlichen Fleckchen und dorsalen Punkten).
