Diagnosis | DIAGNOSIS: Distinguished from other species in E. pallidiceps complex by following combination of characters: midbody scale rows 32-37; dorsal scale rows 53-60 (rarely more than 56); fourth toe lamellae 30-35; SVL at maturity 43-57 mm; lateral surfaces dark brown, marked by irregular row of scattered white scales or clusters of scales on flanks at level of limbs and few white scales or cluster of such scales on side of neck (Brown 1991: 30).
