Type locality: Environments of Koumac, New Caledonia.  
Reproductionoviparous (not imputed, fide Zimin et al. 2022) 
TypesHolotype: ZFMK 25456, no paratypes 
DiagnosisDiagnosis. Leioiopisma greeri can be distinguished from the only other species in the Leioiopisma nigrojascioiatum species group, Leioiopisma nigrojascioiatum, by: fewer paravertebral scales (74 vs 82-96); fewer lamellae beneath the fourth toe (24-27 vs 28-34); prefrontals contacting narrowly vs moderately separated-point contact. CommentAbundance: only known from its original description (Meiri et al. 2017). This is one of the species called 'lost' and 'rediscovered' by Lindken et al. 2024.
